postheadericon Our Spring fair is Saturday the 25th of March

SpringFairWow, what a good turnout for the Spring Fair, probably helped by the good Weather.  Everyone looked as though they were really enjoying themselves, and we made over £800 in the process.  A very big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped to make the day such a success.

postheadericon EXCITING NEWS!

We are planning to offer a lunch club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in.

Update:   The Lunch club is now up and running on Wednesday each week, from 12.30 to 1.20.  The children who are attending have enjoyed sitting to eat their lunch together, and then usually spend time playing together.  They have used the remote control cars, hidden in the tents,  built castles and towers with the building bricks, played the ’isn’t it funny how a bear likes honey?’ game, and listened to stories.

We are planning to extend the lunch club to  either Monday or Tuesday for the last half term before the Summer holidays, if we have enough interest, so please talk to a member of staff if you are considering sending your child to lunch club.

postheadericon OFSTED – LATEST NEWS

We are delighted to announce that we had an Ofsted inspection on Thursday 9th July 2015, and were yet again graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas. You can view a copy of the report on the Ofsted website, but a few of the key findings were as follows:
‘Staff provide a wide variety of resources for children to freely access to develop their early literacy skills. Children make good progress from their starting points’.
‘Staff help to develop children’s expressive art and design by providing lots of resources and materials for children to choose from both inside and outside’.
‘Staff offer lots of opportunities for children to exercise and extend their physical skills. This helps to promote their healthy lifestyles’.
‘The manager and staff have a strong understanding of different signs of abuse and what to do if they have a concern about a child’s welfare. They all attend regular training to keep their knowledge up to date’.

Well done to all the staff and committee for their hard work and dedication – there is every reason to be proud of such a good Ofsted report.
